The Panorama Route is also known for its cultural heritage and its
striking landscapes. Some of the major tourist attractions of the
region are The Blyde River Canyon Nature Sanctuary, Waterfalls in
Graskop and Sabie and the Echo Caves that speak of Africa’s powerful
tribes.
Sabie is a beautiful little town with a Herbert Baker – designed
cathedral and a pleasant square. Sabie is also situated close to the
Kruger National Park so it’s a good place to base yourself for a few
days of game viewing.
